Simple Baked Ham

We have tons of inquiries about how to cook the perfect ham.  While we know that's up for interpretation and personal taste, here is what we’d like to see on your table this holiday.  Hope you enjoy as much as we do!

Cook Time: 2 Hours 15 Minutes
Yield: 12 Servings with leftovers
Difficulty: Easy


  • 1 (12-pound) smoked cured ham (skinless)
  • Whole cloves for studding ham
  • 1 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Score top of ham into diamonds and stud the corner of each point of the diamond with a clove.
  3. Place ham on a rack in a Swiss Diamond roasting pan and bake for 1 1/2 hours.
  4. In a bowl combine the sugar, mustard and vinegar and spread glaze evenly over ham.
  5. Bake for another 35 minutes
  6. Transfer ham to a platter and let stand 15 minutes before carving.
