FAQ
Are there any further health concerns with Swiss Diamond cookware?
No! Swiss Diamond is your partner for healthy cooking for a lifetime. PFOA fumes have been shown in some tests to be dangerous to pet birds; however, Swiss Diamond cookware contains no PFOA so this is not a concern with our products.
For best results, follow the Use & Care Instructions, especially:
- Do not use sharp utensils or abrasive cleaners, as this may damage the coating.
- Use only low to medium-high heat settings. Never use the highest 25% of heat settings on your stovetop. For example, if your stove has heat settings from 1 to 10, never use a heat setting higher than 7.5.
- Clean your pan thoroughly after each use with warm soapy water.
- No oil is needed with a Swiss Diamond pan! If you choose to use butter or oil for flavor, use on the proper heat setting. Oils heated above their smoke point will break down and deposit carbon on the cooking surface.
- Do not store acidic or high-sugar foods in your cookware, as this may damage the coating.
