Ginger Pepper Apple Cider

This rich winter cocktail is spiked with bourbon and ginger liqueur to keep you toasty and satisfied. Cracked black pepper underscores the ginger's subtle burn.  As the holiday season comes to an end and you settle in for a cold winter, let this cocktail warm you and your loved ones.

  • 8 ounces apple cider
  • 4 ounces bourbon
  • 3 ounces ginger liqueur
  • Lemon juice to taste
  • 4 maraschino cherries
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • Cracked black pepper

  1. Bring cider and bourbon to a simmer in small Swiss Diamond saucepan.
  2. Use a Swiss Diamond Jêt Mix immersion Blender with whisk attachment to mix in ginger liqueur and add lemon juice to taste.
  3. Divide cherries between 2 heatproof glasses or mugs and pour in cider combination.
  4. Sprinkle with pepper and serve immediately.
